Prisma is a light art festival happening annually in Aveiro, Portugal. In 2021 the theme was Balance and I took part in their Video Mapping School with Luca Pulvirenti from Mammasonica and created a one minute short video which was mapped into the town hall facade during the weekend festival nights.
This year’s theme was Balance and I created a Video Mapping short film called “The Search” in which a girl interacts with the building’s architecture exploring her balance. I used previously recorded footage of a dancer and further developed an idea that had been playing in my head for a long time.
It was humbling to manifest my vision and share it with others and it was a great honour to receive the Public Prize.
