Water flow sounds & film

[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cnJpEhOjDw4&w=1280&h=720]
A video [without edition] filmed at Alfusqueiro river capturing the natural metamorphosis of water and it’s sound.

“Be like water making its way through cracks. Do not be assertive, but adjust to the object, and you shall find a way around or through it. If nothing within you stays rigid, outward things will disclose themselves.

Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.” Bruce Lee

Insect life and spider death

[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M-eRJWnl5Ks&w=1280&h=720]
An animal life short video showing the struggles of an insect trying to carry a dead spider to his nest. I was inspired by this moment to search quotes and sayings about spiders:

You must kill the spider to get rid of the cobweb.
Maltese Proverb

If you want to live and thrive, let the spider run alive.
American Quaker Saying

Words are like the spider’s web: a shelter for the clever ones and a trap for the not-so-clever.
Madagascar Proverb

When spiders unite, they can tie down a lion.
Ethiopian Proverb

The bird a nest, the spider a web, man friendship.
William Blake

The artist is a receptacle for the emotions that come from all over the place: from the sky, from the earth, from a scrap of paper, from a passing shape, from a spider’s web.
Pablo Picaasso

Laws are spider webs through which the big flies pass and the little ones get caught.
Honore de Balzac

The means to gain happiness is to throw out from oneself like a spider in all directions an adhesive web of love, and to catch in it all that comes.
Leo Nikolaevich Tolstoy

This life as you live it now and have lived it, you will have to live again and again, times without number, and there will be nothing new in it, but every pain and every joy and every thought and sigh and all the unspeakably small and great in your life must return to you and everything in the same series and sequence — and in the same way this spider and this moonlight among the trees, and this same way this moment and I myself. The eternal hour glass of existence will be turned again and again — and you with it, you dust of dust!
Friedrich Nietzsche

Our souls sit close and silently within, And their own webs from their own entrails spin; And when eyes meet far off, our sense is such, That, spider-like, we feel the tenderest touch
John Dryden

A journey inside ds bag

[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cw06iSBHbtM&w=1280&h=720]
An abstract short video filmed by chance when a mobile phone was left recording inside Ds bag. Half way through turns into a sort of meditation track naturally obtained by Ds steps, a bottle of water and other objects shaking along.
